VOA and TOC typically stands for VOA(Volatile Organic Analysis) and TOC(Total Organic Carbon). VOA and TOC analysis are methods to measure the total amount of dissolved and undissolved organic contaminants in a liquid sample. Primarily used for environmental, water quality analysis but also in pharmacy industries. 

In general dedicated systems are used to measure VOA or TOC. The most common types are a an analyzer using the UV/Persulfate method or an analyzer using a combustion technique.
