The Chinese Small Volume (CSV) Dissolution system is based on the official method listed in het Chinese pharmacopeia. The CSV system includes a larger media vessel (250mL typical) commonly used in some special applications. The CSV provides a mid-range volume for applications that require less media volume than standard 500 or 900mL dissolution tests, but more than traditional small volume. Fixed Vessel-mount probes are used. The CSV vessel has an inside diameter of 62mm (+/- 3mm) in conformance with the Chinese pharmacopeia, and it is available in both clear and amber glass.
