In general the cannula filters are made from UMWH PE (Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene). In some occasions where chemical compatibility is an issue with UMWH PE, we offer PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride or polyvinylidene difluoride) cannula filters. PVDF exhibits an increased chemical resistance and compatibility among thermoplastic materials. PVDF is considered to have excellent inert resistance.
